Wow. I was gonna comment cuz i googled “bob dylan and e.e. cummings” & got linked to an old post, & you quoted dylan — “no one to beat you. . . ” — & said it was from “Ramona” & i was gonna let you know that the song is “To Ramona” cuz you were writing about grammar & syntax, & i thought you’d want to be “correct” & then i realized it didn’t matter, so i thought i’d checkout the blog. & i quickly found this. & found it to be hilarious, & spot-on, & pretty neat. . .

PLUS i knew that sunday, february 14th was the first day of the year of the tiger. . . because it’s my birthday. the coincidence was just too much, so i had to drop a line.
